After playing well to end Friday, Fayetteville suffered 2 defeats to end their hopes at the National Select 7-on-7 title.  The Purple Bulldogs offense never showed up as they lost the first game 36-3 to Prattville (AL).  They moved into the loser's bracket to play Oxford (AL) and won that game.  The Bulldogs played Lassiter (GA) in the loser's bracket quarterfinals.  In a nail biter, the 'Dogs lost 32-25.   Fayetteville was down 1 with 10 seconds left.  They were forced to play tight man coverage and gave up a touchdown to put the final margin to 7.  An interception or stop by the Bulldogs would have given them the victory.
Shiloh Christian won its first game of the day on Saturday over Aurora Christian 22-20.  Their tournament hopes ended with a 35-20 loss to Oxford (AL).
Again, Arkansas Football Bloggers would like to congratulate both of these teams for going out and representing Arkansas in this national event.
