2011 Schedule for the Shootout of the South

We know that many of you out there are looking for a schedule for the 2011 Shootout of the South that begins Friday, June 17.  Here is a link to the 2011 pool play schedule (games begin at 11:00 am). For many of these events, you can look at a single pool and say "Man, that pool is brutal."  The depth of the 2011 Shootout will cause you to say that about every single pool.  Here are the pools for this year's Shootout (our predicted pool play winner is bold):

The unique nature of the guaranteed two game format tournament that begins Saturday is that excelling in pool play doesn't grant automatic entry into the championship bracket.  The teams play "Sectionals" to determine their placement into the 3 single elimination tournaments that crown winners.  Here is the link to the 2011 Tournament Bracket (starts on page 2).  I will warn you that probably have to print it out and run a mock bracket to understand what is happening in the sectionals.

We are looking for a fantastic event and the winner will definitely EARN that qualification for the 7-on-7 National Championship on July 21-23 in Hoover, Alabama. We hope to see you at Mighty Blue Bird this weekend.
