Thirty-two teams traveled to Hoover this weekend for the Select 7-on-7 National Championships. Four Arkansas teams were invited to this prestigous tournament. Springdale, Springdale Har-Ber, and Shiloh are regulars as they have competed in the tournament even before it became associated with the National High School Coaches Association and the National Championship. Lake Hamilton received an invitation after qualifying by winning the Shootout of the South in Little Rock, a regional qualifying tournament.
Lake Hamilton and Har-Ber finished the first day 3-1 in pool play. Shiloh was 2-2, and Springdale was 1-2-1.
