Fayetteville Captures 2013 Harrison 7-on-7 Title

Two teams went through the day unscathed to meet in the finals on a beautiful day in Harrison.  Strafford (MO) and Fayetteville dominated pre-bracket play to go 4-0 to earn the top seeds.  Fayetteville defeated Harrison (52-22) and Conway Christian (45-11) and Strafford beat Mountain Home (50-7) and Siloam Springs (25-18) to meet in the finals.  Fayetteville led 15-8 just before half when Strafford threw an interception on a Hail Mary to end the half, making the score 18-8.  Strafford would make it close with the ball down only three points, but Fayetteville prevailed in the end to win the title, 28-25.

Other than Fayetteville and Strafford, Conway Christian was impressive with wins over Harrison, Alma (twice), and Glendale (MO) with their only losses coming at the hands of Strafford and Fayetteville.
